As a visual artist and art educator, my work is influenced by oral and written narratives. My ongoing bent for storytelling, how language shapes my image making and extracting essential moments from an experience are the reoccuring threads that topographically map my creative pursuits.

I am working with ideas that have a relationship to sensory experience, the act of observation and the rhythmic and musical aspects of language. Metaphorically condensed these musings manifest themselves through marine whistle descriptions, fictitious cargo companies and braille tales.
